2024 OL Helton twins set SMU official visits
SMU will host twin brothers for official visits this summer. 2024 Corona (Calif.) Centennial offensive linemen Brent Helton and Wade Helton will be on the Hilltop June 22.
The Helton brothers will also officially visit Arizona State and Iowa State in June for official visits. The twins plan to play college football together.
Wade is a 6-5, 285-pound offensive tackle who has offers from Arizona, Minnesota, Oregon State, Purdue, Washington State and others. Arizona State has the slight edge over SMU on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Brent is a 6-5, 300-pound interior offensive lineman who also holds the same offers from colleges across the country. The Sun Devils, who hosted the twins earlier this spring when they offered, also leads on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Currently, the Helton twins are unranked by On3, but are two of the better offensive line prospects out West.
The Mustangs signed a trio of offensive linemen in the 2023 class and bring in four offensive linemen via the NCAA Transfer Portal ahead of the 2023 season. Nevertheless, offensive line coach Garin Justice continues to push for more depth in the trenches.
In addition to the Heltons, SMU is bringing in Daphne (Ala.) Bayside offensive lineman Graham Uter the weekend prior and already brought in Fort Smith (Ark.) Southside offensive lineman Kobe Branham for official visits.
