BREAKING: 2025 DB Elijah Pratt commits to SMU
2025 defensive back Elijah Pratt, who just transferred from Arlington (Tex.) Mansfield Timberview to IMG Academy in Florida, committed to SMU, he announced.
In January, he was on the Hilltop again, getting to see the coaching staff. He joined his former teammate Nathan Tilmon, who committed this month to SMU as well, on the visit.
“Really enjoyed spending quality time with the whole coaching staff,” Pratt told On3. “I liked the family atmosphere, I felt at home.”
SMU defensive coordinator Scott Symons took a big role in Pratt’s recruitment. The Mustangs have long been a fixture in his recruitment since offering. He got a tour of the new endzone complex being built for the SMU program as well.
