Monday night, SMU Football learned its 2025 schedule, the ACC announced on ACC Network. Follow along below as we update the schedule as the Mustangs learn it.

In Ford Stadium, SMU will host East Texas A&M, Baylor, Louisville, Miami, Stanford and Syracuse. Away games will include Missouri State, TCU, Boston College, Cal, Clemson and Wake Forest.

Week 1: SMU vs. East Texas A&M (Aug. 30)

Week 2: SMU vs. Baylor (Sept. 6)

Week 3: SMU at Missouri State (Sept. 13)

Week 4: SMU at TCU (Sept. 20)

Week 5: BYE

Week 6: SMU vs. Syracuse (Oct. 4)

Week 7: SMU vs. Stanford (Oct. 11)

Week 8: SMU at Clemson (Oct. 18)

Week 9: SMU at Wake Forest (Oct. 25)

Week 10: SMU vs. Miami (Nov. 1)

Week 11: SMU at Boston College (Nov. 8)

Week 12: BYE

Week 13: SMU vs. Louisville (Nov. 22)

Week 14: SMU at Cal (Nov. 29)

SMU Football went undefeated in their first year in the ACC, landing the Mustangs into the College Football Playoff. The Mustangs appeared in the ACC Championship game against Clemson, but fell to the Tigers on a last-second field goal.

Mustang fans showed out at home, leading to historic attendance figures, as a record 228,563 guests visited Ford Stadium, including back-to-back-to-back sellouts for the first time in stadium history. The season average attendance of 32,652 is the highest since 1986.

The 11-win season for the Mustangs in 2024 marked the first back-to-back 11-win seasons in program history. The Mustangs climbed as high as seventh in the Coaches Poll and eighth in the AP Poll during the season, the highest ranking since 1985.
