2025 WR Carterrious Brown commits to SMU
2025 Arlington (Tex.) Seguin wide receiver Carterrious Brown announced his commitment to SMU on Sunday as the Mustangs wrap up a strong summer of recruiting. SMU’s staff offered in late June, shortly before TCU offered as well.
TCU hosted him for an official visit, but it was SMU that won out. Brown, who also holds offers from Texas, Baylor, Arizona State, UTSA and many others, is the fourth wide receiver pledge in SMU’s class.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, he’s the No. 101 overall wideout in the nation and No. 100 prospect in Texas.
