4-star DB Kris Wokomah locks in SMU official visit
2024 Arlington (Tex.) Bowie safety Kris Wokomah locked in his SMU official visit for June 9-11, he announced on Twitter on Monday.
The four-star prospect liked what he saw from the Mustangs on the field when he stopped in to catch the Mustangs in their spring game. It was one of multiple visits to SMU this spring.
“I thought the SMU spring game went good,” Wokomah told On3. “Both sides was making plays and the players look like they was having a lot of fun! I saw them playing fast and making plays on the field. I also saw how the listen and respect coach as he corrected their mistakes. Lastly, I saw them having a lot of fun on the field.”
The 6-0, 175-pound defensive back has seen a lot of the Mustangs this spring. He liked catching up with the coaching staff and seeing how they operated together.

“It was great,” Wokomah said. “The coaches and staff showed great hospitality. It was great being around them and seeing how they coach. The coaches looked like they had a lot of fun coaching too.”
He’s got Baylor and Texas Tech official visits set for the summer as well. Kansas, Louisiana Tech, Washington State, Wyoming and others are among those in this mix for him, he said earlier this spring.
