SMU offered 2024 Frisco (Tex.) Centennial running back Harry Stewart, a four-star prospect on the On3 Consensus, last month. On Thursday, he announced he’ll be in attendance for SMU-Houston on Saturday.

SMU’s program and offense caught the 5-8, 180-pound prospect’s eyes when the school offered.

SMU is definitely one of my options since it’s close to home. I like how their program is and how they carry themselves,” Stewart told On3. “Great school. It’s a pretty good (offense), can be explosive in many different ways.”

Running backs coach Khenon Hall hosted him for a visit last month and impressed Stewart when they worked together this summer.

“Great guy,” Stewart said. “Been building a solid relationship. The love for football and the tips he gave me during the camp while I was there (stand out).”

Colleges starting to line up for Harry Stewart

TCU hosted him for the game against Kansas State and are in constant contact. Cal, Baylor, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State are the other schools Harry Stewart talks with the most. The Aggies will host him on Nov. 26 for the LSU game.

“A program that can give me the best chance to get to the league and that is going to set me up for the future,” Stewart said of what he’s looking for.

According to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Stewart ranks as the No. 307 overall prospect and No. 29 running back in the nation. The Aggies lead the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Harry Stewart’s been explosive as a junior, showing why colleges are starting to line up for him.

“I’ll say my vision and using that off hand has been a priority that I’ve focused on more and succeeded (with),” Stewart said.
