AJ Davis injury update: Rhett Lashlee gives update on SMU DB after scary hit
SMU defensive back AJ Davis went down with a neck injury at the end of the 1st half as the Mustangs were beating up Pitt, 28-3. Head coach Rhett Lashlee was able to share an update on his injury at the end of the 1st half with his team up, 31-3.
“We don’t know for sure. He was moving everything, he was alert so that’s positive,” Lashlee said on the ACC Network. “Obviously, he had some pain in his neck so they were just being extra cautious. That’s the most I know so we’re very optimistic, but obviously, pretty scary.”
