Baylor DE Trey Wilson commits to SMU
Baylor defensive end transfer Trey Wilson has signed with SMU, the school announced Friday after his official visit earlier this week. He’ll have three years to play two seasons remaining.
The former Garland (Tex.) Lakeview Centennial defensive end was at practice this week while the Mustangs were preparing for the College Football Playoff.
The 6-3, 245-pound strong-side end notched 21 tackles, 3 for loss, and a sack the past two seasons. This season, he played in 12 games, making 14 stops and a tackle for loss.
He’s now a nice player depth wise to add behind Cam Robertson for next season while SMU welcomes Jalen Shivers as an early enrollee yet also loses Elijah Roberts and Omari Abor.
