Colorado transfer defensive back Jaden Milliner-Jones committed to SMU, where he was a one-time commitment in the 2023 recruiting class, he announced on Twitter.

Milliner-Jones played in all 12 games this past season, starting one vs. Washington State. In total, Milliner-Jones finished with 25 total tackles, 19 solo and three pass breakups.

With four years to play three seasons, Milliner-Jones has plenty to offer the Mustangs. With a veteran bunch of safeties returning for the 2024 season, he’s expected to be a multi-year starter for SMU.

He was the No. 239 overall prospect in Texas, the No. 143 safety in the class and the No. 1,455 overall prospect in the class.

Milliner-Jones was a late flip from SMU, where he was committed since June 2022 before flipping that December to play for Deion Sanders.

Once again, SMU has an impressive haul of transfers on board for the 2024 season. The Mustangs head to the ACC this summer and begin Year 3 of the Rhett Lashlee era. In 2023, the program capture the AAC Championship and won 11 games.
