The news of Owusu-Anane comes as the Mustangs are set to tip off Wednesday night in their first ever ACC Tournament game. Andy Enfield’s led the program to a 20-win season in his first season. In Charlotte, SMU takes on Syracuse at 8:30 p.m. CT.
SMU honored Keon Ambrose-Hylton, Matt Cross, Tibet Görener, Chuck Harris and Kario Oquendo in a pregame ceremony on Senior Night. The Mustangs do have a trio of high schools signees and one commitment.
With the scholarship limit moving to 15 this offseason, that allows the staff to continue to stack up talent on the roster. Owusu-Anane is the first example of that as the offseason approaches.
