The Mustangs play a second straight road game, visiting East Carolina on Saturday. 

SMU had a four-game win streak end with a 62-59 last-second loss at then-No. 15 Memphis on Sunday.The Mustangs had a season-high 19 offensive rebounds, finished plus-8 (43-35) on the glass and held Memphis to 17 points below its season average. Tyreek Smith had 12 points and a co-team-high seven rebounds with two blocked shots. It was his fifth straight multi-block game.

ELITE DEFENSIVE: In the second season under Head Coach Rob Lanier, the Mustangs’ defense is among the best in the country.
