The Mustangs win the toss and elect to receive the opening kickoff.
Colin Rogers continues his fine form by drilling a 51-yard field goal to open the scoring. Mustangs lead 3-0 with 9:52 to go in the 1st quarter.
Cam Robertson knocks the football out of Josh Hoover’s hands, and Brandon Crossley scoops up the loose ball and takes it to the house! SMU now leads 10-0 with 7:02 in the 1st quarter.
Now the special teams group is making plays! Roderick Daniels Jr. takes a punt 69 yards to the house! Mustangs now lead 17-0 with 6:10 in the 1st quarter.
At the end of the 1st quarter, SMU leads TCU 17-0. The Horned Frogs will look to punch the ball in from the 1-yard line to start the second quarter.
TCU starts the 2nd quarter with a 1-yard TD run by Josh Hoover. The Horned Frogs cut into the SMU leads, trailing 17-7.
Kevin Jennings fumbles the ball on 3rd down, and now TCU has the ball at the SMU 32-yard line. 17-7 with 13:35 to go in the 2nd quarter.
TCU is right back in the game with a 7-yard Cam Cook rushing touchdown. SMU’s lead is now 17-14 with 11:24 in the 1st half.
Brashard Smith is a consistent force on this SMU offense. Smith takes the carry 25 yards to the end zone. Mustangs reclaim their 10-point lead. 24-14 with 8:01 to go in the 2nd quarter.
TCU answers back with a touchdown. Hoover with a nice trick play and TCU is within 3 again. 24-21, SMU leads with 5:00 to go in the 1st half.
The SMU offense is getting into a rhythm! Jennings finds Hudson on 3rd down for a big score. Mustangs are back up 10, 31-21, with 1:28 left in the 2nd quarter.
The fireworks aren’t done yet in the 1st half! Ahmaad Moses with a pick-6, and the Mustangs are back up 17! SMU leads 38-21 with 1 minute left in the 2nd quarter.
HALFTIME: SMU has its largest lead of the game. The Mustangs are all over the Horned Frogs, leading 41-21. TCU will receive the kick to start the second half.

TCU HC Sonny Dykes has been ejected from the game after 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties on back-to-back plays.
TCU with a touchdown – Hoover to Bech for 46 yards. SMU leads 41-28 with 11:18 to go in the 3rd quarter.
Kevin Jennings extends the play and finds Brashard Smith for a touchdown. SMU has its largest lead of the night after a successful two-point conversion. Mustangs lead 49-28 with 9:27 to go in the 3rd quarter.
After Elijah Roberts forced a fumble that was returned to the 1-yard line by Jahfari Harvey, Brashard Smith finds the end zone again and the Mustangs are up 56-28.
Ahmaad Moses picks off Josh Hoover for the second time today. The Mustangs are dominating and lead 56-28 with 5:27 to go in the 3rd quarter.
Colin Rogers re-joins the fun. Rogers connects from 45 yards out, and SMU now leads 59-28. 59 points is the most SMU has ever scored in an Iron Skillet matchup.
SMU leads TCU, 59-28, heading into the 4th quarter.
After Colin Rogers missed a 53-yard field goal for SMU, TCU quickly cashes in a touchdown to make the score 59-35. 12:15 to go in the 4th quarter.
SMU is manhandling TCU. ANOTHER touchdown for Brashard Smith. SMU leads TCU 66-35 and has now scored the most points by either team in Iron Skillet history.
Final: SMU beats TCU 66-42 in the 103rd edition of the Iron Skillet game.
