The Cardinals are 5-9 from beyond the arc so far and lead 17-6 with 11:22 to go in the first half. The Mustangs can’t buy a basket even though they desperately need one.
Chucky Hepburn with a hot start for the Cards

Hepburn knocked down two threes in four minutes as the Cardinals lead SMU 9-4 with 15:58 remaining in the first half. SMU is struggling shooting to start as they are 2-9 from the floor and 0-2 from beyond the arc.
