Miami EDGE Jahfari Harvey commits to SMU
Miami EDGE transfer Jahfari Harvey committed to SMU for his final year of college football, he announced on social media on Friday.
“All in,” he simply said on Twitter.
Harvey joins a host of former Hurricanes in Dallas. Last year, the Mustangs reeled in running back Jaylan Knighton, wide receiver Romello Brinson, wide receiver Key’Shawn Smith, defensive end Elijah Roberts and defensive tackle Jordan Miller.
Across five seasons with the Hurricanes, Harvey totaled 97 tackles, including 21.5 for loss, as well as 10 sacks.
As a recruit, Harvey was the No. 203 overall prospect in the 2019 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranked as the nation’s No. 14 EDGE and the No. 29 recruit in Florida.
