The Mustangs look to go 2-0 in conference play as they take on ECU in an ESPN-televised game on Oct. 12 in Greenville, N.C. SMU is coming off a 34-16 win in its AAC opener on Sept. 30 against Charlotte. Rhett Lashlee’s team had a bye week as did Mike Houston’s Pirates.
