SMU defense steps up after the turnover

SMU settles for another field goal

And even after had the ball inside the UVA 10-yard line, multiple self-inflicted penalties force the Mustangs to settle for a 39-yard field goal. SMU is now up 20-0 with 10:12 remaining in the 3rd quarter.

Kevin Jennings is on his way to having an excellent game, while the pass rush from the SMU defense is just too much for UVA to handle. Virginia is set to get the ball to start the second half. SMU is one half away from clinching a spot in the ACC Championship.
