Rhett Lashlee breaks down SMU's OT win over Duke
Following SMU’s dramatic 28-27 win over Duke, Rhett Lashlee spoke to the media and spoke about the Mustangs’ turnovers, emotions, and overall performance.

Coach Lashlee also talked about the resiliency of this team, especially the defense. Rhett Lashlee talked about how his team didn’t jet injuries effect the teams morale during the game. Lashlee also mentioned how the defense responded time after time in the 4th quarter and kept SMU in the game. Of course, the defense/special teams provided a game-changing play with Jahfari Harvey jumping over the Duke offensive line to block the potential game winning field goal as time expired in regulation.
Lastly, Coach Lashlee talked about the struggles on offense, highlighted by the six turnovers. Lashlee spoke about how a QBs more important job is to win, and Kevin Jennings won tonight with the support of his teammates, on and off the field.
