SMU at UNC: How to watch, channel, stream, odds
The SMU Mustangs take on the North Carolina Tar Heels Tuesday night at 8 p.m. CT on ACC Network. Andy Enfield’s Mustangs look to bounce back from a loss to Duke, which snapped a seven-game winning streak.
UNC comes into the game fresh off a tight win over Notre Dame. For the Mustangs, they have an offense that’s been hot until running into the 4th-ranked Blue Devils. Enfield felt from the beginning the team would have something offensively heading into his first season in Dallas.
“A lot of our players have averaged double figures in their previous university,” Enfield said Monday. “We took seven transfers and then three freshmen, had three returning. We had a brand new team. We thought we could score the ball because guys had proven themselves at the college level. Then big Samet coming over from Turkey, we thought he would be able to score the ball for us as well. We have done a good job of sharing the ball, leading the league in assists.
“We have to try to come out in the next few games and keep sharing the basketball and take open shots. We had felt pretty confident as a staff based on a lot of players had done it at different levels had scored the ball.”

SMU’s hoping a pair of starters with ACC experience — point guard Boopie Miller and forward Matt Cross — will help the team settle in at the iconic venue.
“Boopie and Matt Cross both played well the other night,” Enfield said. “You could tell they had an ACC experience. They played their games. It’s nice to have that leadership because they’ve been there. They know the league. They’ve been to North Carolina like we’re going tomorrow. They play Georgia Tech like we’ll play on Saturday. So it is nice to have those guys leading our team.”
