SMU F Yohan Traore enters NCAA Transfer Portal

SMU forward Yohan Traore is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reported on Monday. Traore spent just one season with Andy Enfield’s program.
In the 32 games that Traore played this season, including 16 games that he started, he averaged 15.6 minutes per game. He averaged 6.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game. From the field, he shot 50.4 percent and 32.4 percent from three-point range. On the defensive end, he averaged 0.2 blocks and 0.2 steals per game.
SMU now loses Traore, Jerrell Colbert (transfer) and Keon Ambrose-Hylton out of the front court while adding Brown transfer Nana Owusu-Anane as well as freshmen Nigel Walls and Jaden Toombs.
Last offseason when he transferred from UC Santa Barbara to SMU, UCF, Arizona State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, TCU and others showed him serious interest. The native of France now has one year of eligibility remaining.
