SMU hosts elite WR Adrian Wilson
SMU hosted 2025 Pflugerville (Tex.) Weiss wide receiver Adrian Wilson for an unofficial visit on Saturday, he tweeted out. The Mustangs have now hosted him twice for visits.
Wilson thanked head coach Rhett Lashlee, wide receivers coach Rob Likens, general manager Alex Brown and assistant director of recruiting Tyler Foster for the visit in his tweet.
Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU and Baylor are among the challengers early on for SMU. Baylor leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine early on.
Houston, Texas State, Texas Tech, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado State, and UTSA are among the other early offers for Wilson.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Wilson is the No. 71 overall prospect in the country, No. 11 wide receiver in the nation and No. 12 prospect in Texas.
As a sophomore, in eight games played, Wilson had 28 receptions for 547 receiving yards and eight touchdowns
He has impressive testing numbers, reporting a 4.56 forty yard dash and a 39-inch vertical jump.
