SMU lands commitment from JUCO LB Kyle Ferm
SMU landed a commitment from Citrus College linebacker Kyle Ferm on Sunday, he announced on Twitter. He has four years to play three seasons of eligibility remaining.
The 6-3, 225-pound linebacker also took Arizona and Kansas official visits. He stacked up NC State, Oregon State, Arizona, Kansas and other offers during his junior college recruitment.
This season at Citrus College, he totaled 50 tackles, two sacks and an interception. As a full qualifier, he has four years to play three seasons. Ferm stacked up Arizona, Kansas, Virginia, SMU and numerous Group of Five offers over the last few months.
Linebackers coach Maurice Crum loses two starters in Ahmad Walker and Kobe Wilson along with depth piece Tarian Lee to graduation.
