SMU lands future punter in Texas transfer Isaac Pearson
SMU brought in another punter in Texas transfer Isaac Pearson, who announced he’ll be on scholarship in Spring 2024. He has one career punt for 15 yards.
“Incredibly humbled and excited to accept a full scholarship for spring 2024 to continue my athletic career and post-graduate studies as a member of the prestigious Southern Methodist University!,” Pearson announced. “Truly grateful to coach @kyleacooper and @prokickaustralia for the opportunity!”
Pearson, a product of Prokick Australia, is originally from Newcastle, Australia. He had one punt in his two-year career. SMU starting punter and fellow Prokick Australia product Ryan Bujcevski is entering his final year of eligibility with the Mustangs.
