SMU makes Top 5 for 2024 RB Harry Stewart
2024 Frisco (Tex.) Centennial running back Harry Stewart included SMU in his Top 5 schools, he announced on Twitter. Baylor, Cal, Kansas and Missouri made the cut as well.
He’ll take his official visit to the Hilltop on June 19, he announced last month. Kansas, which will host him next weekend for an official visit, leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
“It’s going pretty well,” Stewart told On3 of the recruiting process. “Went on a couple visits to Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Kansas. Went to the Baylor spring game. Been all over checking out what they have. Coaches are going to be coming up and watching me work out. Variety of schools coming to see me and check me out. Taking all my offers, seeing all different places.”
As he takes his official visits, Stewart knows what he’s looking for in a college when he makes that decision before his senior year.

“Relationships with the coaches. I want to be prioritized, not someone in their back pocket. History of developing running backs. The ultimate goal for me is to get to the league. Whoever I feel is going to be the best fit for development and also throughout the four years I’ll be there to keep that relationship.”
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Stewart ranks as the No. 545 overall prospect and No. 43 running back in the nation.
