Oklahoma redshirt junior offensive lineman Nate Anderson entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Monday. It didn’t take long for SMU to extend an offer to the former four-star prospect.

Anderson appeared in all 12 games for the 2023 season as a reserve lineman after appearing in four during the 2022 season. In 2020, Anderson did not play then in 2021 he didn’t see action either.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Anderson was the No. 113 overall prospect in the country and No. 15 offensive tackle in the nation in 2020.
