SMU-Pittsburgh game time, TV coverage revealed
The SMU Mustangs will take on the Pitt Panthers on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. CT on ACC Network, it was announced Saturday night. Both teams are in the Top 25 and unbeaten in ACC play right now with the Panthers undefeated overall.
The ACC Huddle announced on the show live from Duke that they’ll be back in Dallas this week for SMU Homecoming game.
SMU’s fresh off an overtime win against Duke, 28-27, to remain unbeaten in ACC play and move to 7-1 overall on the season. Saturday’s matchup in Dallas is a battle of two teams vying for a spot in the ACC Championship game.
Pitt beat up on Syracuse on Thursday, winning 41-13. Pitt defenders Rasheem Biles, Kyle Louis and Braylan Lovelace returned first-half interceptions off Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord for touchdowns to lead the way for the Panthers.
“Our motto all year is to ‘prove it,’” Pitt head coach Narduzzi said after the game. “I think we proved a lot (in) a primetime game time (with a) national audience.”

With its win on Thursday, Pitt improved to 7-0 for the first time since 1982. With its win on Saturday, SMU extended the nation’s active longest road win streak to nine games.
SMU’s 4-0 start in conference play is a first for a team jumping into a Power-4/5 conference from a Group of Five in their first season.
SMU leads the all-time series over Pitt, 3-1-2, with the last game being the 2012 BBVA Compass Bowl, which the Mustangs won, 28-6.
