2025 Conroe (Tex.) running back Dramekco Green committed to SMU over the summer and has now picked up a 4-star ranking from On3 in the latest On300.

On3 moved him up inside the Top 25 running backs in America. He now ranks as the No. 23 overall running back in the country and No. 50 overall prospect in Texas.

“Dramekco Green is averaging nine yards per carry with 21 touchdowns on the season,” On3 national scout Cody Bellaire said. “He displays good patience and wiggle while running hard with good contact balance.”

It’s more than just about elite speed as Green’s displayed impressive production all year long that deserves to be recognized.

“We’d like to see more top-end speed and better ball skills,” Bellaire said. “He’s a DUDE with the ball in his hands and is having a huge senior season.”

Green’s head coach told Lone Star Live’s Jacob Richman last month that he’s got the No. 1 running back in Texas. Now, he’s got a ranking that puts him among the nation’s best.

“Dramekco Green is the best back in the state. I’d put him against anybody in the country,” Conroe coach Cedric Hardeman said. “I’ve said it early on, I don’t think he gets the accolades he really deserves.”

SMU beat out Minnesota, Houston, Utah, Oregon State, TCU, Arizona and others for Dramekco Green’s commitment. SMU’s class sits just outside the Top 25 overall classes in America, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Green is one of the key pieces for the future for the Mustangs.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, he’s the No. 47 overall running back and No. 83 overall prospect in Texas.
