SMU releases BYU game depth chart
SMU Football released its depth chart for the matchup vs. the BYU Cougars this week. There wasn’t much to go over when it came to changes.
Head coach Rhett Lashlee has his team ready to compete with Kalani Sitake’s bunch. Coming into the game, SMU’s healthy and looking to move to 3-0. At the same time, Lashlee said the Mustangs have a lot to prove, having not won a power conference game at home in over a decade.
“To me, we’re the underdog every week. Doesn’t matter what the line says,” Lashlee said. “We’re not supposed to come in and beat everybody. Now, on the flip side, our guys are confident. I think they know that we can compete at this level. I think they feel good that we belong, so we have to go out and show that, but there’s no pressure on us, only the pressure we put on ourselves.”
