SMU Basketball hosts No. 4 Duke Saturday at Moody Coliseum in a 1:15 p.m. CT tip-off on The CW. Duke and SMU each own seven-game win streaks, tied for the fifth-longest active streak among power conference teams.

Since SMU’s trip to California in the Acrisure Holiday Invitational from Nov. 26-27, the team’s been rolling. The wins over Cal Baptist and Washington State along with a neutral site win over LSU certainly helped the team’s confidence in each other.

“When you bring in seven transfers and three freshmen and a new coaching staff and no one knows each other, you really don’t know what you’re going to have,” SMU basketball coach Andy Enfield said this week. “It’s hard to improve until you go through that adversity. I thought the California trip really helped our team establish, how are we going to react, especially second half late in those games. It certainly helped us against LSU, as well.”
