11/4/2024, 9:36:23 PMJackson Young drilled a three in the final minute of the game to cap off a successful first game for SMU. Boopie Miller led the way in scoring for the Mustangs with 21. SMU shot 54% from the floor and 42% from beyond the arc. Great way to start the season for the Mustangs as they move to 1-0.

Boopie Miller comes out of game with injury
11/4/2024, 9:17:58 PMAfter making a contested layup, Miller seemed to land awkwardly and came out of the game. We will stay up to date on the Miller’s status. In the meantime, SMU leads by 31, 79-48, with 6:35 to left in the game. SMU has made their last four field shot attempts.

Chuck Harris leads SMU in points with 12, followed by Wake Forest transfer, Boopie Miller, who has 10.

BJ Edwards followed up Traore with a three of his own from the corner. The Mustangs went on a 10-0 run to claim the lead. With 14:36 to go in the first half, SMU leads 14-8. Yohan Traore will look to complete his “and one” opportunity after the TV timeout.
