BREAKING: Sunshine State WR Adam Moore commits to SMU
2023 Miami (Fla.) Northwestern wide receiver Adam Moore announced his commitment to the Mustangs on National Signing Day. He took his SMU official visit earlier in January before taking an official visit to Syracuse last weekend.
“It was good. Met new people and it was a fun experience,” Moore said of his SMU official visit. “The coaches said that I was a good fit. I would be moving around the field, not just as a tight end but at wideout.”
Moore is high school commitment No. 17 for SMU in the 2023 recruiting class, which is complemented by 17 transfers coming into the program. With Moore on board, SMU jumped to No. 2 in the AAC Team Recruiting Rankings, according to On3.
It wasn’t the first time the 6-3, 220-pounder was on the Hilltop for a visit. His 7-on-7 team took a visit back in March 2022.
Moore held offers from the likes of Louisville, where he also took an official visit, Miami, West Virginia, UCF, Syracuse and others.
According to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Moore ranks as the No. 58 overall tight end in the nation and No. 157 prospect in Florida.
