After winning the AAC Championship Game, SMU is headed to the Fenway Bowl against Boston College. The Mustangs are 11-2 on the year and finish unbeaten in the American Athletic Conference at 9-0 while Boston College is 6-6.
SMU extended the contract of Lashlee last week, announcing a deal that’ll keep him on the Hilltop for the foreseeable future. Lashlee’s deal now runs through 2029 and he’s locked in on reeling in transfers for the Mustangs as they transition to the ACC in 2024.
