Big-play WR Debron Gatling signs with South Carolina
Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star wide receiver Debron Gatling committed to South Carolina on Wednesday morning and has now officially signed with the Gamecocks.
The 6-foot, 175-pounder picked the Gamecocks over Alabama, Georgia, LSU and others.

Gatling is rated by the On3 Industry Ranking as a three-star prospect, meaning that he is ranked as a three-star player by all four major recruiting services. He is additionally ranked as the 798th-best prospect in the 2024 class and the 119th-best receiver prospect nationally.
He is the 93rd-best prospect in the state of Georgia.

As a senior at Milton High School, Gatling caught 77 passes for 892 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 11.6 yards per catch. For his career, he finished with 204 receptions for 2,816 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Gatling was originally committed to Texas A&M but chose to de-commit from the program earlier this month, according to On3.
“After careful consideration and discussions with my family, I have decided to de-commit from Texas A&M,” Gatling told On3. “I appreciate the support and opportunities provided and wish the program the best in the future.”
Gatling most recently took an official visit to South Carolina on Nov. 17.
