The finalists for Blair are Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

He recently told On3 that the choice was coming down to the wire between the trio of SEC programs.

“That’s the one thing about this,” Blair told Steve Wiltfong. “The reason I set the date was so that I would force myself to actually pick a school. It’s pretty close. They’re all three really good schools. I love all three schools.”

Blair took his official visit to South Carolina the weekend of June 6 and was impressed by what he saw during his weekend in Columbia.

“The culture,” Blair said to Wiltfong when discussing what stands out about Shane Beamer’s program. “Coach (Lonnie) Teasley. And just the team. The players. I had a really good time hanging out with them. I felt I clicked with them real well.”

Blair is ranked as the No. 273 overall prospect and No. 22 offensive tackle in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an average of all three major recruiting services.

Rivals is higher on Blair than other recruiting services, ranking him as the nation’s No. 224 prospect regardless of position.

““The connection with the players can’t be matched. Coach Beamer even makes the players know everybody’s name. A couple of the players said they were sitting in meetings and Coach Beamer called them out and made them name everyone in a row,” Blair told GamecockCentral.com after his official visit. “That’s a lot different than other places in the country. The family, the brotherhood, is just beautiful.”
