Ebrima Dibba to enter transfer portal

Redshirt senior guard Ebrima Dibba has entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Dibba is the second South Carolina men’s basketball player to depart the program this week, as Meechie Johnson also announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Monday.

Dibba appeared in four games for the Gamecocks this season, playing a total of 17 minutes. He scored two points on 1-5 shooting and added two rebounds and two assists.

The redshirt senior recently finished his second collegiate season with South Carolina. He missed the entire 2022-23 campaign after suffering an Achilles injury in summer workouts that led to a season-ending surgery.

Dibba spent the previous four college seasons at Coastal Carolina. He averaged 8.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game in his time with the Chanticleers.
