South Carolina fell 21-17 to Illinois in the Cheez-Its Citrus Bowl. Here’s everything LaNorris Sellers said after his first bowl game.
Sellers passed for 260 yards and a touchdown, but his game-winning touchdown pass fell incomplete. He also ran for 19 yards on 11 carries.
Sellers spoke to the media at the same time as head coach Shane Beamer. Only two questions were asked of Sellers.

Q: It was a great season for you guys but it ends with the other team celebrating. What does it feel like at this moment?
Sellers: Obviously we want to win, but some things didn’t go our way. (Muffled) We’ve got to get back to work on some things.
Q: You’ve got several more seasons left, what kind of foundation does getting to this game mean for this team?
Sellers: It just shows us what we can accomplish. We were a couple plays away from making the playoffs in the first season we had. We know what it takes now and we’ve just got to put it all together.
