CHRIS CLARK: Last season, the Gamecocks turned in an incredible special teams performance on the road to help beat the Tigers.
Kai Kroeger had the game of his life. Ahmarean Brown had a key punt return that set South Carolina up in the red zone for an eventual touchdown.
Pete Lembo’s coverage units forced two fumbles on Clemson returns.
And, of course, Mitch Jeter hit what ended up being the game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter.
I anticipate a tight, fourth quarter game once against inside Williams-Brice Stadium.
If South Carolina wins, it may take a repeat of some of the same elements that led to the upset last year.
My pick is for one of those in particular to be replicated. I have Mitch Jeter hitting a game-winning field goal once again for the Gamecocks.
WES MITCHELL: We finally saw the introduction of the LaNorris Sellers package last week against Kentucky and with South Carolina’s backfield likely thin again, one would imagine we’ll see it again this week.
Some people don’t like the Wildcat because of it taking the ball out of Spencer Rattler’s hands but Carolina does leave Rattler on the field for that package.

Put me down for some type of trickeration out of that formation this week, though the Gamecocks will have to make it good — because Clemson will surely be on the lookout for something like that as well.

KENDALL SMITH: Willy B is about to be electric, and Cade Klubnik has been known this season to go against the direction of his coaches. I think he finally pays the price this Saturday and the Gamecocks capitalize on his mistakes.
Give me 3 Klubnik interceptions… maybe one even is a pick 6?!
MIKE UVA: A game like this usually features at least one or two wonky plays. So, put me down for at least two different Gamecocks throwing touchdown passes on Saturday.

JACK VELTRI: I’m thinking with how loud Williams-Brice Stadium is going to be compared to last week, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik is going to throw at least two interceptions.
He’s never played in as hostile as an environment as this. Plus, he’s still young. This is his first year starting. With so much on the line, the Gamecock defense will find a way.
