The coaches’ edition of the All-SEC teams has been revealed and four South Carolina players made the cut.

Wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr. and punter Kai Kroeger earned spots on the first-team unit, while offensive lineman Jovaughn Gwyn and long snapper Hunter Rogers were named to the second team.

Wells transferred to South Carolina in January and made an instant impact. Wells finished his 2022 campaign with 63 receptions for 898 yards and six touchdowns.

Gwyn led a veteran South Carolina offensive line. He helped turn the unit around and put some solid performances together down the stretch.

Kroeger burst onto the scene in 2022. Over half of Kroeger’s punts (52 percent) were spotted inside the 20-yard line.

His 46.8-yard average was 2nd in the country and the best out of the SEC. He was also named a semifinalist for the Ray Guy punter of the year award, snubbed as a Guy finalist.

Rodgers was a large factor in the success of the special teams as well. The Gamecocks did not fumble one snap all year, largely thanks to Rodgers.
