The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Clark has emerged as a major target for the Gamecocks, who visited his school at least twice during the recent open period. Travian Robertson is recruiting him to South Carolina.
“It was great,” Clark said of those meetings. “Was able to get to know coach some more and I had a great time. Love talking to them we had a great conversation.”
In addition to an offer from the Gamecocks, Clark has scholarships from Georgia, N.C. State, Virginia, Miami, Texas, Tennessee, Penn State, Notre Dame, Florida, and Duke, among others.
