With the kickoff of the early signing period less than 24 hours away, we have the latest to report on multiple remaining targets for the 2023 Gamecock football recruiting class.
It was a busy week for Shane Beamer, as he and his staff hosted a large group of prospects from the 2023 and transfer ranks.

It was a fruitful weekend, as four players went public with commitments to South Carolina.
Florida transfer Nick Elksnis, Newberry transfer running back Mario Anderson, Yale offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo, and Pennsylvania high school wide receiver Tyshawn Russell are now present on the 2023 commitment list.
*** One of South Carolina’s longtime commitments, athlete Vicari Swain, was recently offered by Colorado and new head coach Deion Sanders.
Swain was in Boulder over the weekend for an official visit.

The three-star prospect, who projects as a linebacker at the next level, has been committed to the in-state Virginia Cavaliers. He is still looking around, however, as evidenced by the fact that he took official visits to Florida State and South Carolina the last two weekends.
Afterwards, he told GamecockCentral.com that he “loved” his visit to Columbia. What is the latest we are hearing on Robinson?
