Hayden Hurst – BENGALS
Hurst finished Sunday’s game with four receptions for 37 yards on five targets. While the Bengals run at a Super Bowl title came to an end, the tight end had a special season and a solid postseason. Despite dealing with a calf injury in recent weeks, Hurst racked up 13 catches for 141 yards on 17 targets. He also scored a touchdown against the Bills.

Deebo Samuel – 49ERS
Injuries at QB hurt not just the 49ers but the production from Samuel. The offense wasn’t able to get much going in the passing game and as a result, Samuel was held to just 33 yards on three receptions. The 49ers tried to get creative and run with Samuel but he ended up rushing for (-9) on six carries.

Javon Kinlaw – 49ERS
A season hampered by injuries, Kinlaw had one of his best games of the season in the 49ers loss on Sunday. He finished with four tackles, a feat that he’s only achieved three other times. Prior to Sunday, the last time Kinlaw had four tackles or more in a game came on Sep. 29, 2021.

Notable transactions:
Chris Lammons – CB
For those of you who may have missed it, Lammons was released by the Chiefs last Tuesday. He mainly played special teams for KC but was a staple on that unit. The DB was claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the Bengals deferred the waiver claim until the day after Super Bowl LVII. This prevented Lammons from being able to play for Cincinnati this postseason. It also prevented the Chiefs from being able to bring Lammons back for the rest of the postseason, which is appeared to have been what KC was hoping for. Teams release players then bring them back all the time. Unfornately for Lammons, he was caught in a situation that was bad timing.
