Gamecocks in the NFL: Divisional Round recap

The NFL’s Divisional Round weekend is in the books. Now, only three former Gamecocks are in the hunt to win Super Bowl LVIII.
Here’s a look at how every former South Carolina player in the league did this past weekend.

Kingsley Enagbare – PACKERS
After suffering a knee injury during Super Wild Card weekend, the outside linebacker was inactive this past weekend. On Monday, he shared with reporters that he torn his ACL.
Keisean Nixon – PACKERS
The highlight of the day for the veteran defensive back came on a 73-yard kickoff return that led to a Packers touchdown. He finished with 97 yards on kickoff returns and added five tackles.
*Damiere Byrd – TEXANS
The wide out was signed to the Texans practice squad last week.

Jadeveon Clowney – RAVENS
Playing in 69 percent of the Ravens’ defensive snaps, Clowney finished with two tackles. This marked the second most snaps Clowney has seen in a game this season from a percentage standpoint.

Javon Kinlaw – 49ERS
Kinlaw finished with three tackles and was credited with a tackle for loss. He played a total of 24 snaps between defense and special teams.
Deebo Samuel – 49ERS
Held to just two catches for 24 yards, the wide out injured his left shoulder on the opening drive. On Monday, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan shared that while there’s no fracture in Samuel’s shoulder, he’s dealing with pain. His status for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Detroit Lions is to be determined.
