Gamecocks in the NFL: Super Wild Card weekend recap
The NFL’s Super Wild Card weekend wrapped up on Monday night with a pair of games. 13 Gamecocks were on rosters heading into the playoffs, but only a handful remain in the hunt to win Super Bowl LVIII.
Here’s a look at how every former South Carolina player in the league did this past weekend.

Melvin Ingram – DOLPHINS
Ingram finished with two tackles after playing a total of 55 defensive snaps in the Dolphins loss to the Chiefs.
Cam Smith – DOLPHINS
The defensive back was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Ernest Jones – RAMS
The veteran linebacker played all of the Rams 56 snaps on defense and finished with nine tackles including two sacks. He was also credited with a tackle for loss and forced a fumble in the Rams loss to the Packers.
Darius Rush – STEELERS
Rush was inactive as a health scratch.
Jalen Brooks – COWBOYS
The wide out was inactive as a health scratch in the Cowboys loss to the Packers.

Rico Dowdle – COWBOYS
The veteran running back complied 25 total yards of offense including two catches for 14 yards.

Stephon Gilmore – COWBOYS
Gilmore finished with fives tackles and played all 56 defensive snaps for the Cowboys.
Israel Mukuamu – COWBOYS
The defensive back was active but failed to record a stat. He played a total of 22 snaps, which all came on special teams.
Kingsley Enagbare – PACKERS
The outside linebacker finished with just one tackle after playing a total of 47 snaps between defense (40) and special teams(seven). Enagbare left the game with a knee injury late. According to the NFL Network, the Packers fear that it’s an ACL injury that could sideline him for the rest of the playoffs.
Keisean Nixon – PACKERS
The veteran defensive back had a monster game, racking up a game-high 11 tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss and defended two passes.
