Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 14 recap

Week 14 of the NFL season is in the books. Here’s a look at how some of those former South Carolina Gamecocks in the league did over the weekend. In addition, which players were on byes.

Jaycee Horn – PANTHERS
Horn had one interception and and defended two passes. He also added six tackles.

Shi Smith – PANTHERS
The wide out had two receptions for 17 yards. He scored on a 13-yard reception, marking his first touchdown of his career. He also returned two punts for 16.

Kevin Harris – PATRIOTS
On Monday Night Football., Harris scored his first career NFL touchdown. He finished with 26 yards on eight carries with a long of 14 yards.

Ernest Jones – RAMS
The linebacker had four tackles, an interception, and defended a pass.

Jadeveon Clowney – BROWNS
Clowney finished with two tackles and defended a pass.

Ryan Succop – Buccaneers
Succop missed his lone field goal attempt of 55 yards. He finished the game with just one made PAT.

D.J. Wonnum – VIKINGS
The DE finished with one tackle. He was also credited with a QB hurray.

Nick Muse – VIKINGS
After being signed to the 53-man roster earlier this season, Muse continues to playing time on special teams.

Dennis Daley – TITANS
According to PFF, Daley has now allowed a league-leading 11 sacks. 

A.J. Cann – TEXANS
Cann once again started at right guard. Despite not allowing a sack, the Texans dropped to (1-11-1) on the year.

Chris Lammons – CHIEFS
Lammons was active but did not record a stat.

Taylor Stallworth – TEXANS
After being waived by the Chiefs last week, Stallworth was claimed by the Houston Texans. He played in 20 snaps this past weekend.

Stephon Gilmore – COLTS

Israel Mukuamu – COWBOYS
The defensive back had his first career interception. He was also credited with defending a pass.

Pharoh Cooper – Cardinals
After being elevated from the practice squad, Cooper returned five kickoffs for 134 yards.

Hayden Hurst – BENGALS
Hurst was OUT with a calf injury and could miss Week 15 due to the same injury.

Deebo Samuel – 49ERS
Samuel caught four passes for 43 yards on five targets. He also rushed for 21 yards on four carries. Unfortunately, Samuel left the game in the first half with what’s been described as a “sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee and a sprained left ankle.”

Damiere Byrd – FALCONS

Rashad Fenton – FALCONS

Kingsley Enagbare – PACKERS

Keisean Nixon – PACKERS

**Mike Davis was released by the Baltimore Ravens this past Saturday.
