Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 4 recap
14 Gamecocks were active in Week 4 in the NFL, which is up one from the number of active South Carolina player appearing in NFL games in Week 3.
Here’s a look at how every former Gamecock player in the league did this past weekend.

Javon Kinlaw – 49ERS
The veteran defensive lineman had one tackle.
Deebo Samuel – 49ERS
Dealing with injuries both to his rib and knee, Samuel wasn’t targeted once in the passing game. He finished with six yards rushing on three carries including a long of five yards.
Jovaughn Gwyn – FALCONS
For a fourth straight week the rookie offensive lineman was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Jadeveon Clowney – RAVENS
Clowney finished with two tackles and was credited with a TFL.
Jaycee Horn – PANTHERS
The third-year defensive back remains on IR after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 1. That means he won’t be eligible to return until Week 5, at the earliest.
Hayden Hurst – PANTHERS
Hurst caught one pass for seven yards on three targets.
Zacch Pickens – BEARS
The rookie had one tackle and was credited with 0.5 a sack.

Jalen Brooks – COWBOYS
The rookie wide receiver was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Rico Dowdle – COWBOYS
The forth year back combined for 17 yards of total offense. Dowdle had one reception for eight yards.
Stephon Gilmore – COWBOYS
Gilmore finished with two solo tackles.
Israel Mukuamu – COWBOYS
The third year defensive back was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Nate Adkins – BRONCOS
For a second straight week, Adkins was used as a target in the passing game. He caught two passes for eight yards on two targets. He was also used a lot as a blocker.
Kingsley Enagbare – PACKERS
Enagbare had five tackles including four solo.

Keisean Nixon – PACKERS
The DB finished with two tackles. He also returned five kickoffs for 116 yards and one punt return for 34 yards.
*Darius Rush – CHIEFS
*Rush is currently on the Chiefs’ practice squad.
Zack Bailey – CHARGERS
After starting the first three weeks of the season on practice squad, Bailey was signed to the Chargers’ active roster last week. He was inactive as a healthy scratch.
Ernest Jones – RAMS
For a fourth straight week, Jones finished with a team-high in tackles. This weekend he racked up ten tackles including four solo, and a sack.
Cam Smith – DOLPHINS
The rookie defensive back appeared only as a gunner on special teams and failed to register a stat.

Nick Muse – VIKINGS
For a fourth straight game, the second-year tight end was inactive as a healthy scratch.

D.J. Wonnum – VIKINGS
Wonnum had a day to remember in Carolina, which was highlighted by a 51-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. He also added six tackles, a sack, and deflected a pass in the win.
*Kevin Harris – PATRIOTS
Harris is currently on the Patriots’ practice squad
Adam Prentice – SAINTS
The veteran fullback rushed or five yards on one carry. He also caught one pass for five yards.
Dennis Daley – CARDINALS
After suffering an ankle injury during the final preseason game, Daley is currently on IR. That means he’ll miss, at minimum, the first four games of the season.
Rashad Fenton – CARDINALS
Like Daley, Fenton began the year on IR and will miss, at minimum, the first four games of the season. Fenton’s injury is “undisclosed.” He’ll be eligible to return this upcoming week.
*Chris Lammons – COLTS
Lammons began the season suspended for three games for “violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.” He’s currently on the Colts practice squad.
