14 teams’ quests for a Super Bowl championship began this past weekend, with seven NFL Wild Card matchups taking place. A contingent of eight alumni of the South Carolina football program were featured on these franchises’ active and practice squad rosters.

Green Bay Packers

Kingsley Enagbare – Defensive end
Enagbare logged four tackles (two solo, two assisted) in the Packers’ 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He earned most of his playing time on defense, where he appeared on 29 plays and earned both the team’s highest run defense grade (72.4) and fifth-highest overall defensive grade (66.0), according to Pro Football Focus. Enagbare also played eight snaps on special teams.

Keisean Nixon – Defensive back
Nixon’s production in the Packers’ Wild Card defeat was limited, despite playing 59 of the team’s 60 defensive snaps. He made just two total tackles (one solo, one assisted) and also returned four kickoffs for 95 yards.

Minnesota Vikings

Stephon Gilmore – Cornerback
Gilmore was held out of practice on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this past week due to rest – just like he had been the past three weeks. He recorded just two total tackles (one solo, one assisted) but made several nice coverage plays across 44 snaps of action in the Vikings’ 27-9 defeat to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday.

Nick Muse – Tight end
Muse is currently a member of the Vikings’ practice squad and did not feature in the team’s Wild Card Weekend defeat.

Los Angeles Chargers

Hayden Hurst – Tight end
Hurst did not appear on the Chargers’ injury report ahead of the team’s Wild Card matchup against the Houston Texans. He did not, however, see the field in the team’s 32-12 loss on Saturday, as the team listed him as inactive 90 minutes before kickoff.

Denver Broncos

Nate Adkins – Tight end, Denver Broncos
Adkins’ streak of games with at least one reception came to a close in the Broncos’ 31-7 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. He did, however, play 24 combined snaps – 10 on offense and 14 on special teams – in the contest.

Nick Gargiulo – Guard, Denver Broncos
Gargiulo is currently a member of the Broncos’ practice squad and did not feature in the team’s Wild Card loss.

Kansas City Chiefs

Darius Rush – Cornerback
Rush is currently a member of the Chiefs’ practice squad. The Chiefs also did not play this past weekend after earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC during the regular season. They will face the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.
