Aliyah Boston continued her remarkable start and Laeticia Amihere finally got on the court last week in the WNBA.

Atlanta Dream (2-5)

Laeticia Amihere (3 games, 5.7 mpg, 4.3 ppg, 1.0 bpg)

  • 106-83 loss vs New York: 10 minutes, 8 points, block
  • 89-77 loss vs Connecticut: 2 minutes, 5 points, block

Allisha Gray (7 games, 7 starts, 31.7 mpg, 17.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 3.1 apg)

  • 106-83 loss vs New York: 31 minutes*, 17 points, 5 rebounds
  • 89-77 loss vs Connecticut: 31 minutes*, 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals

Amihere got the first significant playing time of her career and responded by going 3-3 for eight points and a block. She only got two minutes Sunday but still scored five points, making a compelling argument for more playing time. Gray is quietly leading the Dream in scoring and second in rebounds and assists. She was arguably the biggest All-Star snub last season but it’s hard to imagine Gray getting snubbed again.

Upcoming games:

  • Tuesday, June 13 at New York (8:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)
  • Thursday, June 15 at Connecticut (7:00 ET, Amazon Prime Video)
  • Sunday, June 18 at Indiana (4:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)

Connecticut Sun (8-2)

Tyasha Harris (10 games, 11.3 mpg, 4.2 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.8 apg)

  • 90-84 loss vs Las Vegas: 3 minutes, 0-2 shooting
  • 94-77 win vs Las Vegas: 11 minutes, 6 points, rebounds, assist, steal
  • 89-77 win at Atlanta: 24 minutes, 15 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds

Harris had her best game of the season on Sunday. Her playing time has fluctuated in her first season under Stephanie White, but it’s hard to argue with the results: the Sun is just a game out of first place and handed league-leading Las Vegas a lopsided loss.

Upcoming games:

  • Thursday, June 15 vs Atlanta (7:00 ET, Amazon Prime Video)
  • Sunday, June 18 at Los Angeles (7:30 ET, League Pass)

Indiana Fever (2-6)

Aliyah Boston (8 games, 8 starts, 28.1 mpg, 13.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.5 bpg, 64.7 FG%)

  • 108-103 loss at Chicago: 40 minutes*, 25 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, assist
  • 71-69 win at Minnesota: 33 minutes*, 10 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals
  • 85-82 loss vs Phoenix: 23 minutes*, 4 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks

Victaria Saxton (2 games, 1.0 mpg, 0.5 rpg)

  • 108-103 loss at Chicago: DNP-CD
  • 71-69 win at Minnesota: DNP-CD
  • 85-82 loss vs Phoenix: DNP-CD

Boston continued the incredible start to her career last week. She had the first two double-doubles of her career, and when Boston “struggled” against Phoenix she still dished out five assists.

Las Vegas Aces (8-1)

A’ja Wilson (9 games, 9 starts, 30.6 mpg, 20.1 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.6 spg, 2.1 bpg)

  • 90-84 win at Connecticut: 35 minutes*, 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals
  • 94-77 loss at Connecticut: 30 minutes*, 13 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, 3 steals
  • 93-80 win vs Chicago: 28 minutes*, 21 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists

Las Vegas concluded its east coast trip with a loss to Connecticut, but otherwise, the Aces and Wilson are on virtual cruise control. Wilson has had at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and three of the last four games and makes it look easy.

Upcoming games:

  • Thursday, June 15 vs Seattle (10:00 ET, Amazon Prime Video)

  • 66-63 loss at Seattle: 11 minutes, block
  • 77-62 win vs Chicago: 15 minutes, 5 points, rebound, assist
  • 91-86 loss at Minnesota: 5 minutes, rebound

Cooke has cooled off after her torrid start. The Sparks have also had a lot of injuries that have disrupted the rotation and Cooke is still figuring out how to fit in.

Minnesota Lynx (2-7)

Tiffany Mitchell (9 games, 7 starts, 29.6 mpg, 12.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.9 apg)

Wednesday at New York: Postponed

  • 71-69 loss vs Indiana: 26 minutes*, 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists
  • 91-86 win vs Los Angeles: 26 minutes*, 17 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds

In her seventh season, Mitchell is having a career year. Unfortunately, she’s doing it for the struggling Lynx.

  • Sunday, June 18 at Las Vegas (9:00 ET, League Pass)
