Highlights: Ahmari Huggins Bruce's 2023 season
South Carolina football landed a transfer portal commitment on Thursday from Palmetto State native Ahmari Huggins-Bruce.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder will have one season of eligibility remaing to play for the Gamecocks after spending three years at Louisville.

After entering the transfer portal, Huggins-Bruce also held known offers from Southern Cal, Maryland, UCF, Tulane, Minnesota, and Colorado State.
In his three seasons in the ACC, Huggins-Bruce tallied a total of 80 catches for 1,121 yards and 10 touchdowns.

As a junior, Huggins-Bruce caught 20 passes for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns, with his season long reception coming on a 55-yarder.
Huggins-Bruce was rated as a recruit by the On3 Industry Ranking as a three-star prospect and the seventh-best player in the 2021 class. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that accounts for all four major recruiting services.
