Homecoming for Sumter DB transferring to South Carolina
North Carolina State transfer portal defensive back and Sumter, S.C. native Brandon Cisse is coming home.
Cisse, ranked the No. 9 cornerback in the transfer portal, committed to South Carolina today.
The 6-foot, 182-pound Cisse has spent the last two seasons at N.C. State, playing in 22 games during that span and taking over as a starter this season. He has two years of eligibility left.

In nine games played this year, Cisse collected 28 tackles with five pass breakups.
The two-year starter posted a PFF grade of 69.8 as a freshman last season and then a 73.0 as a true sophomore this year.

Cisse has proved to be a better tackler than most cornerbacks missing just one tackle this season and posting a tackle grade of 84.3, according to PFF. Cisse allowed 14 receptions on 27 targets for 175 yards.
A three-star prospect out of Lakewood High in the 2023 class, Cisse was ranked the No. 49 cornerback and No. 448 overall prospect in his class.
