The South Carolina Gamecocks and Jacksonville State Gamecocks are set for a Saturday matchup at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia with kickoff scheduled for noon and ESPNU carrying all the action.

ESPNU is available nationwide from every major cable, satellite, and streaming provider but viewers will want to verify that they have a package including the channel since it is not always included with the basic package.

Brian Custer will provide the play-by play while Rod Gilmore adds the color commentary with Lauren Sisler handling the sidelines.

The ESPN App is available on Android, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Chromecast, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, Apple TV, Kindle Fire, Android TV, PS4, PS5, XBox and Oculus — and on Watch ESPN on a browser. But users will need to log in with a subscription service that has ESPNU to watch.

The Gamecock Sports Radio Network — heard locally in Columbia on 107.5 The Game — once again features former South Carolina quarterbacks Todd Ellis and Tommy Suggs in the booth with Chad Tucker taking over sideline duties this season.

The Columbia-based Gamecocks are currently 2-6 overall and 1-5 in SEC play after a 30-17 loss at Texas A&M this past weekend. South Carolina has also suffered losses to Missouri, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina with wins over Mississippi State and Furman.

Jacksonville State, led by former West Virginia, Michigan and Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez, is currently 7-2 and coming off a 41-16 win over FIU.

Final South Carolina injury report before Jacksonville State

South Carolina offensive lineman Trai Jones was already ruled out for this weekend’s matchup with Jacksonville State, but head coach Shane Beamer said Tuesday that several others — offensive linemen Vershon Lee and Cason Henry, wide receivers Xavier Legette and Ahmarean Brown, and tight end Trey Knox — were at the time questionable for Saturday’s game.

On Thursday’s call-in show, the third-year South Carolina coach gave the latest on the injury front in his final appearance prior to this weekend’s game.

“Trai Jones won’t play this week. He’ll be out. The good news is Cason Henry and Vershon Lee will,” Beamer said. “Tree (Babalade) and Tro (Baugh) are good. Ahmarean Brown is back. We’re not quite ready to say that Trey Knox is out. I’d say he’s questionable right now. We’re getting healthier and should be playing our best football in November.”
