How to watch South Carolina vs. UNC
The South Carolina Gamecocks open their 2023 football campaign Saturday night against North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Classic with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff live on ABC from Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium.
Luckily, there are countless ways for fans to view the border bash.
ABC is available on pretty much every major satellite, cable, and streaming provider, you’ll just want to verify that you have local channels with your package prior to Saturday’s game.
(EDIT: As of Thursday evening, Disney-owned channels such as ABC and ESPN are blacked out on Charter/Spectrum in some areas due to a contract dispute. The blackout appears far more widespread for ESPN than ABC and most Carolina fans should be fine (check Tweet below). College Gameday is, of course, on ESPN, with the Carolina game itself on ABC. There is currently no word on when the issue might be resolved. But there is an option below that may allow many to watch ABC for free. It also appears that YouTubeTV is currently running a free trial if you have no signed up before.)

Fans can also view the opener on ESPN3 via the ESPN app or can watch on the ABC app from their smartphone and tablet (iOS and Android), computer on ABC.com and connected devices (Roku, AppleTV and Amazon Fire TV) — but you will need a subscription to a provider with local channels to log in with in order to watch the game on those apps.
There is one option that is completely free as ABC can still be viewed on almost any modern TV with a simple over-the-air antenna, assuming there’s a local ABC affiliate close enough to your home. CNET has a great guide here that will walk you through some options. The picture is, in most cases, clearer than watching over a stream or cable.
